"Visited Piraso today with a group of 12. I’m not normally the biggest fan of Filipino cuisine, but I was genuinely impressed. We ended up ordering everything on the menu, and I was satisfied with almost all of it. • Starters: The bread served with chicken butter was phenomenal and way beyond my expectations. The warm appetizers that followed were also really well done. • Mains: I don't usually enjoy seafood, but the shrimp dish was surprisingly good. The beef stew was a standout—it reminded me of a comforting Turkish meat-and-pea stew, and the flavors were spot on. The rest of the main courses had a slightly bland flavor profile for my taste, but were still decent. • Desserts: An absolute masterpiece! We tried every single dessert on the menu, and they were all the stars of the meal. However, the ube soufflé and raspberry sorbet were on a completely different level! Highly recommended, especially if you have a sweet tooth!"

"Piraso is such a welcoming little gem – we felt looked after from the moment we walked through the door. The staff are genuinely friendly, smiling and chatting with us like regulars even though it was our first visit. Nothing was too much trouble; they were happy to explain dishes and make recommendations, which made the whole experience feel really personal. We were celebrating a joint birthday, and the team really helped make the occasion feel special, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, making it just as comfortable for a casual meal as it is for a special occasion. It’s also a fantastic introduction to Filipino cuisine, especially if you haven’t tried it before. The sharing concept allows you to sample a variety of dishes, from crispy starters and flavourful seafood to rich, comforting mains. We especially enjoyed the starters – the okoy and lumpia were incredibly tasty and full of flavour, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The grilled pork liempo was cooked beautifully and packed with flavour, and dessert was an absolute class finish to the evening. Overall, Piraso has that rare combination of delicious food and genuinely kind, accommodating service. We’re already looking forward to coming back and bringing friends."

"A beautiful and truly unique place with incredibly delicious food and genuinely warm, welcoming staff. What really stands out is how completely transporting the experience is. The décor and atmosphere make you feel as though you’ve stepped far away from Coleshill, which is no small achievement. It’s immersive, stylish, and full of character. The food is beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. This was my first introduction to Filipino cuisine, and it certainly won’t be my last. Every dish felt thoughtfully created and completely distinctive. I would especially recommend the pork spring rolls, chicken inasal, tiger prawn and butternut squash curry, and the sweet potato fritters — all outstanding. Do not pass on the fresh, warm homemade bread served with an exceptional chicken butter — it’s an absolute highlight. For dessert, the banana cake is a must. Every element works perfectly together and rounds off the meal beautifully. I’ve already been twice and can’t wait to return again."

"My partner and I had been wanting to come to Piraso for quite some time. As an Indonesian, I was extremely excited to see a Filipino, a South-East Asian restaurant opened in Coleshill! We went there for lunch and we ordered the 2-course set lunch menu: Lumpia and Inasal for the starters, Adobadong Manok and Grilled Pork Liempo as the mains (+ jasmine rice). Everything was absolutely delicious, but we especially loved the Adobadong Manok! The service was excellent, just the type of hospitality that reminded me of home. We're definitely coming back very soon. Thank you."
